Vector art is artwork built from mathematical paths (Bézier curves) that scale to any size without quality loss. Unlike raster images like JPG and PNG which pixelate when enlarged, vector files stay sharp from business card size to billboard. You need vector files for embroidery digitizing, screen printing, vinyl cutting, laser engraving, and any professional print workflow that requires a scalable source file.

Simple logo vectorization starts at $10 for basic text-only or one-to-two color logos. Standard business logos with multiple color areas cost $15 to $25. Complex artwork, mascots, or detailed illustrations range from $30 to $75 depending on complexity. Logo and graphic design from scratch starts at $25. All prices include AI, EPS, SVG, and PDF formats with unlimited revisions.

Every vector order includes AI (Adobe Illustrator, layered), EPS (universal production format), SVG (web-compatible scalable vector), and PDF (print-ready review format). DXF is available for laser cutting and CNC routing. Pantone color references and CMYK breakdowns are provided on request.

Auto-trace tools (Illustrator Live Trace, CorelDRAW PowerTRACE, online converters) generate vector paths algorithmically. The result is messy: too many anchor points, jagged curves, rough edges on text, and incorrect color separation. Manual tracing is done by a skilled illustrator using the Pen tool to draw each shape precisely with clean Bézier curves and correct color layers. Production printers, RIP software, and vinyl cutters perform significantly better with manually traced files.

Higher resolution produces better results but we can work with any quality image. 300 DPI or higher is ideal. Low-resolution phone photos and old logo scans can still be vectorized; the illustrator redraws the artwork by hand so output quality is determined by skill, not by input resolution. Standard delivery is 2 to 8 hours depending on complexity. Simple text logos take 2 to 3 hours. Complex multi-color illustrations with fine detail take up to 8 hours. Rush delivery in 1 to 2 hours is available for simple to medium complexity artwork at no extra charge; just add RUSH to your order notes.

Yes. For screen printing orders we identify the closest Pantone spot color match for each color area and supply the Pantone reference number with the delivered file. Colors are separated into individual layers ready for film output. CMYK breakdowns for four-color process printing are also available on request.

Yes. Every AI file is delivered with each color element on a separate named layer. This makes it easy to adjust individual color areas, swap colors for different applications, or extract specific elements for sub-marks and alternate versions. Files are built to standard brand identity delivery conventions.
